Barry's work focuses on helping companies, particularly in financial services and FinTech, implement responsible AI frameworks, and advising companies on AI issues in areas such as data protection, contracts, and intellectual property.

Barry is highly specialised in the media and entertainment space in the area of AI and copyright, a subject on which he is completing a PhD, and advises high profile international music industry organisations on AI issues.

Barry is a member of the Law Society of Ireland's Technology & Data Protection Law Committee.
