John Kennedy is Head of VFX and part of the team running Windmill Lane.
Windmill Lane is Ireland's longest running creative, VFX and post production company. Originally established and gaining recognition as an editing and music recording studio before growing into a full film and TV post, audio and VFX house, it has been home to some of the very best musicians, artists, creatives and filmmakers working in Ireland over the past 5 decades.
John has almost 30 years experience in the creative field that has seen him work as a robot designer, graphic designer, CG artist, animator, director, compositor, creative director, VFX supervisor (with probably a few more roles in between!) across the advertising, music, film and TV sectors.
As part of the leadership team at Windmill Lane, he is responsible for developing the VFX side of the studio and playing a role in representing and growing Ireland's presence on the world stage for VFX and post for Film and TV working with clients such as Netflix, Paramount, BBC, Disney, HBO and more.
