Exec Producer, Director, Writer

An executive producer, independent director, and writer who has worked across the world on high-budget global commissions, Dr Neasa Hardiman made investigative and creative documentaries, the Eurovision Song Contest, and dramas with RTÉ, before her strong cinematic sensibility led her to international prominence as a screen director and executive producer focused on emotionally compelling and visually acute storytelling.


Neasa was awarded an IFTA in 2016 and a BAFTA in 2017. Her feature film Sea Fever premiered in Discovery at the opening night of TIFF 2019. Neasa is a member of the DGA, the WGA and BAFTA. She is bilingual in German and English, as well as speaking French and Irish.

Some of Neasa's other notable credits include the upcoming Hulu drama We Were the Lucky Ones, BAFTA-winning Happy Valley (BBC), Hit & Run (Netflix), The Power (Amazon), Z: The beginning of Everything (Netflix), and Peabody-winning Jessica Jones (Marvel/Netflix).
