JENN ELY

Jenn Ely is a Production Designer and Illustrator from Portland, OR. She is known for solving visual problems across both animation and children’s books. Recent work includes designing color for Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, illustrating on Henry Selick’s Wendell & Wild, and she just wrapped her next kid’s book, Cactus Queen, a non fiction picture book written by Lori Alexander for Calkins Creek publishing in 2024.

Jenn is a jack of all trades, but she's most often hired for developing an overall look in the early stages of a project, as well as color design. She loves stop motion and works in that medium a lot, but also has experience designing for 2D, CG and VR.
